Body fillers or putties are generally surface levellers used in various industries like steel fabrication, foundries, paint and powder coating industry, fire rated steel doors, welding, metal casting, bearing and motion control industry, construction and transportation, marine industry, plumping and heating (HVACR), agriculture, wood working, DIY etc. 

Chipmate Metal Putty stands apart from similar products available in the market due to its temperature resistance which makes it ideally suited for surface levelling prior to powder coating. Many a times the fabricator / powder coater is forced to use ordinary epoxy putties which do not resist high temperatures prevalent during powder coating.  As you are aware, powders cure at elevated temperatures (polyester powders at 200 degree Celsius and hybrid powder at  180 degree Celsius approximately). Ordinary putties fail miserably to sustain the high temperature while passing through the curing oven resulting in charring of the putty which leads to peeling-off of the powder. Our range of putties can resist temperatures starting from 210 degree Celsius to 535 degree Celsius. This product is easy to apply and has gained wide acceptance in the market in a short span of time due to its versatility and possibility of its use in an array of diverse fields.
